d. If a topic contains swearing, put in parenthesis "(Swearing)", in the title.

5. Use the right subforum
Please ensure you post threads in the correct subforum. If you are unsure, post in the subforum you think most fitting. Using the correct subforum makes navigating easier for everyone. Some subforums have a few extra guidelines.

6. No multiple threads or posts
a. Do not post multiple threads on the same topic. Select one subforum and make one thread. If you create multiple threads you may be warned for spamming. If you are unsure which is the correct subforum, PM a Moderator and a mod will answer your query.
b. If you were the last person to post within a given topic and wish to post another thought, edit the last post instead of creating another post within the thread.

7. Use the search function
a. Before posting a thread try searching for a recent thread on the same topic, usually a brief look down the first page will suffice.
b. Use descriptive thread titles
c. Thread titles should be accurate and explain the content of the thread. Thread titles should not contain any censored words. If they do, you may be warned.

8. Do not repost deleted content
Do not repost something that a moderator has deleted or edited. Doing so will result in a warning. If you are unsure why something has been deleted, PM a Moderator

9. Private Messages (PMs)
The rules and guidelines that apply to posting on the forum also apply to private messages. If you abuse the private message facility we may remove your ability to use PMs, or take other action such as warning or banning.

10. Racism
Any form of racism will lead to a permanent ban within the forums. Since you post it here in the forums, it shows contemplation of thought before you committed to posting the racism, therefore, not giving you a viable excuse.

11. Avatars and Signatures
a. Do not use inappropriate images as your avatar. Pornography and racist images will be immediately removed and it would be wise not to use images of a sensitive nature (e.g. swastikas). If a complaint is received and upheld, it will be modified, either voluntarily by the user or by a moderator.
b. Do not abuse your signature space. If it is too large or distracting it will be modified. The first time, you will receive a warning. After that, you will be issued a user infraction. Multiple infractions will result in a temporary ban.
c. Do not have any pornographic nor obscene materials shown, exhibited, nor linked within your signature.

12. Admins and Moderators
The TPP forum management team reserve the right to remove anything they view as inappropriate at any time, without warning. Do not openly argue with a Moderator/Administrator if your content is removed. Politely discuss the matter using the private message function. If you come across content that is inappropriate/breaks any forum rules, you may report the content.

TPP aims to provide a forum for players in our servers, admins and Owners. Welcome newbies as they have just as much to give to the forum as existing members although they may not be familiar with all of the functions of the site.

Be friendly towards other members (including the moderation and administration team), but if that is not possible please remain tolerant and civil. Abuse in the public forum or via Private Messaging will not be tolerated. If necessary the moderation team will mediate between disputing members.

1. The creation of second accounts for the purposes of breaking rules/causing trouble will result in the banning of the second account and punishment of the owner of the primary account.
2. You must not create any account to access TPP during any time you have been banned from accessing the forum. Any secondary accounts will be banned.
3. You must not create any member names that mimic or impersonate a member of the moderation or administration team

Please do not post anything in the chatbox which you do not want other users to see - the chatbox is public for all usergroups. Failure to adhere to the chatbox rules will result in suspension of your chatbox viewing/posting privileges.

2. General Topics
Threads in this forum have a set topic of discussion and prompt meaningful conversation. Threads are less "throw-away" than those in the chatbox and generally share advice/opinions or information held by TPP members.

By reading and understanding these rules you hereby agree that any offense or infraction you make in relation to these rules will receive an appropriate sanction which may include your permanent removal from the TPP Forums and Servers.
